The remote control works fine with the old Blazevideo that came with the product CD.

It does not work with the current Blaze version or with Dream.

How do I make the remote work with these programs???

you can install TBS 8920 driver for Windows 7 in WinXP - it will work without any problems and the advantage of doing that is that you will get VHID support, which means "Virtual Human Input Device" and that remote control will be treated as virtual keyboard and you can work with any software.
