thanks for replies. still no joy. did brand new ubuntu install, updated, upgraded, then went through installation process (that goes through the motions) but no hardware shows up. big waste of money.

Hi, I am it literate but have not much knowledge of linux. I am using ubuntu 14.04.3, a clean install. My motherboard is asus h110m-a. My card is tbs6281. -I have followed all instructions from here, from the manual, and from 3 days of googling, to the best of my ability but i cannot get this instal...
