Sure you are at the most points you are right. If you are a programmer and want to dive in all kinds of sourcecode etc. It''s a great platform and ofcoz the community support is great. I will try to copy the ko's to the tbs tree.
One thing is for sure, the driver implentation is a lot easier on windows than Linux.
I like Linux for his low resources and low cpu consumpition, but i always fighting with drivers issues
