After several hours running, the card stops receiving data

We are seeing repeated problems with data just stopping. This has occurred running just a single Quad S2 or a single Quad T2. Symptoms: After several hours running, the card stops receiving data. It continues to report itself locked when queried with FE_READ_STATUS, but the dvr fd never becomes read...

Tried that already.

Do you not have a list on known working boards?

Re: Stream corruption when viewing multiple channels on TBS6

The DFI board which showed no cards is DFI CL630-CRM The MSI board that showed the cards is H61M-E23 In all cases where I have had the bios option I have set it to GEN1. The MSI board works, but it just doesn't have enough slots (3 PCI-e, 1 PCI). We need to find a reliable source of boards that will...

Re: TBS6984 Kernel error on close

Yes we "release" the device completely. This being linux we just close() the file descriptors for the demux, frontend and dvr devices. If that is insufficient then there is a driver bug. The kernel error occurs around the time we close the devices (when our application exits), not when we ...

Re: Stream corruption when viewing multiple channels on TBS6

I have just received a new motherboard to test. DFI CL630-CRM. I installed 4 gig of DDR3 and an i5-2400 CPU. Installed Windows 7 64bit. No cards appear at all! I've tried your Quad S, Dual S and Dual T PCIe cards we have here. I tried a PCIe graphics card and that works fine. In Linux LSPCI shows no...

Re: TBS6984 Kernel error on close

We open the card in our application. Sometimes our application needs to restart when its settings are changed, so we need to stop using the card when our application closes so it can reopen it again when it restarts. Surely a player application for example would open and close the card when it is st...

TBS6984 Kernel error on close

We have a problem with the tbs6984 quad S2 card. The card tunes and gives data fine for long periods. However sometimes when closing /dev/dvb/adapter?/dvr0 we get the following kernel error: [ 4395.288391] irq 16: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option) [ 4395.288416] Pid: 524...

Re: Stream corruption when viewing multiple channels on TBS6

Yes. I have tried several TBS6984 cards in the DFI PT630 motherboard and they all show the same problem. Tune a single transponder up and it looks good. Tune up all 4 and you start to get corruption in the stream. I then placed the same cards into another machine running the same windows version and...

Stream corruption when viewing multiple channels on TBS6984

Hi, I'm having a problem with a TBS6984 card. I have four feeds connected to a Quattro LNB via a multiswitch (this configuration is not new and has been working perfectly with other tuners). In Windows 7 64bit I can tune all 4 inputs with DvbDream and watch/record channels one at a time. If I run mu...
