Bingo. I started with 'high band/H" and now I get a signal at ARD 11836H (90%) and ZDF 11953 (85%). So the multiswitch is definitely part of the problem. I have another one here (Technisat). Will test this setting first, before I exchange the multiswitch.

I'd have suspected the multiswitch if band-switching is a problem, but maybe not if you can get high-band transponders on another receiver. The lower quality is a bit suspicious, though.
