now I have 3 files in modprobe - do I put all options in a single file? How do I know if they are working or not? THanks

tbs.conf
mxl5xx.conf
dvb.conf

Where to put this?

I've seen 2 different instructions about editing files in modprobe or somewhere similar.

/etc/modprobe.d/tbs.conf
and
/etc/modprobe.d/mxl5xx.conf

OK, this didn't work with kernel 4.4.0-63 and I think .62 was the same.

so I installed 4.4.0-21, rebooted, choose advanced Ubuntu options, select kernel .21 and now I have 8 adapters in /dev/dvb
